They murdered three women and torched 63 homes in Dauda’s village.
Dauda and the Kamuru community in northern Nigeria were targeted by Fulani militia because they are Christian, but that’s not what most people believe.
The narrative in the media – the one believed by most people and politicians – is that they were collateral damage in a conflict caused by climate change. “It’s just herders fighting farmers,” they say.
But, they are wrong...
'Why did the Fulani leave the Muslims who are farmers and attack only Christians, if this is not a religious issue?' says Dauda.
